Overthinking

OVERTHINKING



Have you been in a place where you overthink that led yourself to the way of thinking negative?
Overthinking is like the way of thinking things almost crossing into the limits of the thoughts that is not negative. If you let yourself to get used to overthinking and make it as your habit , you will put yourself in such a hard spot in your life. 

For me, overthinking is not always negative because not all the things that are playing in your head is always negative. When you are overthinking, there is a high possibility that you will be a pessimist. You will overthink to the worst possible outcome that may be and that is completely not healthy to live inside your thoughts.
I'm currently struggling of always having negative thoughts which I think that OVERTHINKING caused.
It made me depressed and feel lonely. I always struggle to fall asleep due to insomnia that was caused by it. Overthinking can lead to many negative things including anxiety, depression ,  etc. So you better take actions to prevent or lessen the chances for this to happen to you and to help your mental condition to be safe and for you to be happy. 

Here are some ways on how to help yourself to prevent yourself from overthinking, it may not be easy, but it can help to lessen or prevent yourself to be drowned by your thoughts.

1. Surround yourself with positive people that will make you feel positive

~ Having yourself surrounded by positive people is a great thing. Spend time with your family and friends or other people that makes you happy and comfortable. Having good times with them will make you have negative thoughts and live in the moment with them and it will increase your closeness with them. ~


2. Distract yourself from negative things and entertain yourself


~Another effective way is to distract yourself from negative thoughts. And things can totally distract you like reading books, playing video games, and reading books. These are some ways to entertain yourself by enjoying the things that you want to do and to have time for yourself without thinking the negative thoughts.~




3. Be more closer to God






~ Being more closer to God is the best way to be more positive in your life. Believing, trusting, and having faith in Him is the most positive way to prevent yourself from keeping yourself to overthinking. ~









4. Prevent yourself from thinking what can go wrong. instead, think of what can go right.

~ Do not enable the kind of thinking that you will overthink to things that will happen in the future that you will see the worst things that will happen. Therefore, think of positive outlooks, think of the success be an optimist when you think of something and trust the process because when you think that something bad will happen in your thoughts, the higher possibility that it might fail will be. So never think negative and have faith in the process. ~




5. Focus on the things that you have in present and let go of what's lost or the things that you don't have

~ Be contented. Appreciate  the things that you have right now and don't find the things that you don't have in yourself. There are people who prays or wishes that they have the things that you have right now. Just look at the things that you have right now and tell yourself to be contented because you have the things that others still wish to have in theirs. ~ 


6. Be grateful

~ Be grateful for you have precious things in your life. Be grateful for the wonderful things that has been given to you to use in your daily life. Be grateful for the beautiful things that you still have for you still can feel and see them in your senses. Be thankful and grateful for you are a very blessed person that lives in this world and a person that has a lot of friends to share memories with and a family to spend a lot of time with that you will miss when they are gone. Appreciate even the most little things that you have right now because one day, they will be gone. Be thankful and grateful for you are blessed and loved. ~ 



Sometimes, you can't help but to overthink. Sometimes you will be in a mood to think of things but keep this in mind. If you keep on thinking thoughts negatively, you need to take actions in order for your mental health to be safe and healthy. Always think positive because all things will go as planned by our God. Remember that you are always loved and you are very important in every one's life.
